HAS ANGELINA HAD WORK DONE?
We’ve been curious to know how Angelina Jolie has managed to remain so straight-faced and tight-lipped amidst all the speculation of her marriage to Brad Pitt falling apart. A plastic surgeon in the US thinks he knows the answer.
Following pictures of her with strange ‘lumps’ under her ear lobes hitting the internet, the anonymous celebrity surgeon has suggested she may have had a ‘ribbon lift,’ a procedure in which a thread of absorbable ribbon is inserted under the skin and pulled tightly – thus making the skin on the face and neck appear taught. Should the ribbon come undone it’s known to result in a lump shaped gathering of the skin not dissimilar to what is shown in the picture of Angelina above.
We sincerely hope this isn’t true – 34 years old is WAY to young to start having cosmetic surgery, even by our high standards. Had she asked us we’d have suggested she simply smile a bit more to give her sullen face a bit more of a workout.
END OF THE ROAD FOR BRANGELINA?
Countless news outlets are reporting that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have split after almost 5 years together.
The pair are said to have separated in December, at which point they visited lawyers in Los Angeles to begin thrashing out a deal. Rumours are that they’ve agreed to split their $300 million fortune equally and share custody of their 6 children.
It’s been a while since the pair were spotted together. Angelina, famous for her charity work, was noticeably absent from the Hope for Haiti telethon that Brad attended in LA on Friday night – though unsurprisingly his ex Jennifer Aniston was there. While we’d love to believe that she was there to do help the devastated people of Haiti, knowing Jennifer and her desperation for a man it’s much more likely that it was an orchestrated move to get her claws back into Brad.
Could this be game, set and match for Team Aniston?
ANGELINA’S NOT A FAN OF THE PRESIDENT
US Weekly is reporting that Angelina Jolie is not a fan of President Obama. A source close to the U.N. goodwill ambassador has alleged that ”she hates him” as “she’s into education and rehabilitation and thinks Obama is all about welfare and handouts. She thinks Obama is really a socialist in disguise.” Don’t expect Angelina to be voting Republican anytime soon though. The source adds that “Angie isn’t Republican, but she thinks Obama is all smoke and mirrors.”
Apparently Angelina’s views have caused major rifts with Brad, who is a major Obama supporter. We can already hear the sound of Jennifer Aniston dusting off her “Vote Obama” placards…
ARE BRAD AND ANGELINA SET TO SPLIT?
The Mayans predicted that the world will end in 2012, but even more devastating news is that some gossip columns are predicting the end of Brangelina in 2009. It certainly seems to be a possibility, with this week’s OK! magazine reporting that Angelina plans to adopt a young girl from Syria with no participation from Brad.
Whether this signals the end for the couple is not certain, but for Angelina to take such a major step without Brad on board doesn’t bode well for them. We can practically hear the popping of champagne corks over at Team Aniston’s HQ…
