BRITNEY’S LATEST AD CAMPAIGN HITS THE INTERNET
Pictures from Britney’s photoshoot for Candie’s at Kohl’s have been released and the Pop Princess seems to be fitting comfortably back into her grade A body.
The competition to shoot her was fierce and the campaign ended up with contributions from world famous photographers Annie Leibovitz, Mark Seliger and Terry Richardson.
Despite all the craziness there’s just no stopping the greatest pop star of our generation!
ONE OF BRITNEY’S BOYS RUSHED TO HOSPITAL?
We’re hearing reports that Britney Spears has rushed to the UCLA Children’s Ward with a police escort in tow. At the moment no further details are available.
Update: Britney’s management have released a statement saying it was ‘just a routine visit.’ Thankfully all is well with Britney and her boys.

BRITNEY HITS BACK AT THE MEDIA
We absolutely LOVE the new BS Monitor on Britney Spears’ official website. Fed up with the millions of lies that are written about her every year, ranging from mild exaggerations to the plain ridiculous, Brit has decided to hit back by naming and shaming the publications and web-sites that print them.
The worst culprits include Perez Hilton, OK! Magazine and the National Enquirer. The UK’s Daily Mirror and Daily Mail don’t fare much better.
Our favourite untruths include “Britney Spears to star in Holocaust thriller film” (The National Ledger, June 21 2009),”Britney Spears wants to become a baptist minister” (Daily Star, Dec 16 2009) and “Britney’s boys trash hotel room” (Popcrunch, May 22 2009) – her eldest is 3 years old for goodness sake!
Rather than sit back and moan about the media like every other whinging celebrity, Britney has decided to get off her butt and call them on the rubbish they write. For that we salute her.

Ask Jeeves today revealed that Britney Spears is officially the most sought after person of the decade according to their online search engine statistics. Britney joins such global superstars as Madonna, Brad Pitt, David Beckham, erm, Osama bin Laden and (WTF!) Jade Goody in the top 10.

SYDNEY LOVES BRITNEY
After a month of fairly bad news for Britney, starting with a string of bad reviews from the Australian press and ending with those horrendous (and so far unfounded) accusations by Courtney Love, finally some great news. It was announced today that Britney broke the record for concert ticket sales at Sydney’s Acer Arena with 66,247 tickets sold across 4 nights. Not only does that mean she’s beaten the likes of Coldplay and the Eagles, she’s also kicked ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake’s ass by knocking him into 3rd place in the Arena’s all time sales.
We always knew she’d come out on top – congratulations, Britney!
COURTNEY LOVE LAUNCHES SERIOUS ALLEGATION
Part time drug-abuser and full-time lunatic Courtney Love has alleged in a Facebook post that Britney Spears was molested by her father, Jamie. Courtney wrote:
“Britney’s dad molested her , imagine the father that molested you owning you for slavery while your forced to sing songs picked for their sexual content every night, insane right? i have it on First had authority, and fight as hard as she is and does she still didnt pull that card, its a pride thing i can relate to, However they want to play dirty, lets go, Im SO not afraid of the little trolls who hit this when i was f***ked up who are called lawyers. lets GO.“
This is a hugely serious accusation and we hope for Britney’s sake that it isn’t true. And even if it were true, Courtney Love should be utterly ashamed of herself for posting it on Facebook of all places.
Courtney, we appreciate that you are a shameless attention seeker of the highest order, but in future if you become aware of a serious crime can we please ask you to act responsibly and call the police rather feeding your own ego by posting it on Facebook?

BITCHY AUSSIE JOURNALIST PUBLISHES SCATHING CONCERT REVIEW

Britney Spears took to her official Facebook page last night to fight back at a journalist who gave her Circus show a terrible review. Britney’s message read:
“It’s unfortunate that one journalist in Perth didn’t enjoy the show last night. Fortunately the other 18,272 fans in attendance did.”

STM’s Jay Hanna headlined his article with “Lacklustre, lip-synching Britney” and went on to talk about her “rigid performance”. Judging from the response on Facebook, the majority of those in the audience did not agree as Britney has had overwhelming support. Fans described the show as “amazing” and talked about how they’d achieved a “life-time ambition” in finally seeing her live.
We saw the Circus show on a couple of occasions (like 5!) and while we admit it wasn’t Britney at her 100% best, it was a great show and we had a thoroughly amazing time. Yes it’s a bit disappointing that Britney lip-synchs most (or all) of the show, but it’s energetic and fun and with the back catalogue of amazing songs that she has it’s difficult not to have a great time.
The journalist also reported how many fans “stormed out” after only 3 songs in protest at Britney’s miming. Sounds like nonsense… this show has been on the road for months and the overwhelming media attention paid to her (lack of) singing means that everyone is well aware of what to expect.
People need to loosen up – Britney has never been about world class vocals. She’s about great music, stunning productions, and some of the hottest dancing ever seen (when she’s at her best). Get over it!

MAKE AN EFFORT!!
At RumerMills we absolutely adore Britney but every now and then we need to give her some guidance in getting through life. After seeing Britney landing in Australia for her first ever tour there we decided to make today’s lesson “how not to exit an aircraft”. You see, when you fly in first class the washing and changing facilities are excellent and so there is NEVER any excuse for stepping out onto the runway with greasy hair, a filthy t-shirt and last night’s make-up on.
In case we appear unduly harsh (the poor girl was just off a 13 hour flight blah blah) we would like to draw your attention to the stylish and immaculate Victoria Beckham. Here she is after a transatlantic flight looking like she’d just stepped onto a catwalk – exactly how it should be for an international superstar!
CHILD STARS MOST LIKELY TO BE SAGITTARIANS
A new study has shown that child stars are most likely to be born under the star sign Sagittarius, and has used the examples of Scarlett Johansson, Christina Aguilera, Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears to illustrate the point. While it is quite spooky that 4 of the biggest child stars of our time are all Sagittarians, these examples make us question whether there’s a more important point to be taken from this study. Are Sagittarians also the most likely to be insane!?

We absolutely love Britney’s banging new track “3″ and think that after shooting straight to the top of the US Billboard Chart it will now surely be a massive worldwide hit. Particularly in the UK, where she really needs a hit considering the poor chart performance of her singles from the amazing Circus album.
