MARIAH WINS AT THE PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS
Following her drunk acceptance speech in Palm Springs on Tuesday, Mariah showed up to the People’s Choice Awards in LA on Wednesday.
Is it just us or is she taking the whole ‘fat is back’ thing a bit too far? Her poor husband looks like he’s really struggling to hoist her up those stairs.
Before anyone goes getting upset, we say this not to hurt Mariah’s feelings but out of concern for her health. At RumerMills it worries us to see our favourite celebs looking morbidly obese. It worries us even more when they’re actually struggling to breathe, as Mariah appears to be in this dress that’s at least 2 sizes too small.
That said, we do have to congratulate her on winning best R&B artist at the awards. Although her acceptance speech did ramble on a bit, it was after all a crummy R&B award not an Oscar! Once again the whole thing sounded a bit… drunk?

MARIAH AT THE PALM SPRINGS FILM FESTIVAL
Mariah Carey was (as they say in the UK) OFF HER TITS as she accepted an award for Best Breakthrough Artist at the Palm Springs Film Festival.
As with any good drunk, she was sharing the love around and most of it was going in Helen Mirren’s direction.

THE EMANCIPATION OF MIME-EE
Mariah performed on this week’s X Factor and we have to say she was looking, erm… swell. Mimi sang her new single, the very desperate cover of Foreigner’s I Want to Know What Love Is, and it looked to us that while some of the song was live some of it was (very badly) lip-synched. Particularly the incredibly high note at 4m 20s, which we’d imagine could only have been made by a dog whistle. Judging by the over-acted facials it certainly wasn’t coming out of Mariah’s mouth!
The performance was far from successful as the single is sitting at no. 25 on today’s iTunes chart – which gives Mariah the honour of being one of the few artists not to send their single rocketing to the top of the charts following a performance in front of the show’s 14m viewers.

MARIAH ANGERS UK TV HOST
We thought everyone was well aware that dealing with outrageous Diva antics was part and parcel of having the misfortune to interview Mariah Carey. Apparently not! Philip Schofield, the popular presenter of UK daytime TV show This Morning lost his cool this week when Mariah arrived over an hour late to tape an interview and performance for the show. Philip took to Twitter to express his rage, tweeting:
“Sitting here twiddling our thumbs waiting for Mariah Carey.. la la la laaa“
“Think I will give her until two o’clock.”
Philip was tipped over the edge when Mariah finally showed up but then decided on a last minute change of outfit:
“She’s changing her mind about what she’s wearing!!!!!“
Mariah managed to calm him down slightly by apologizing for her lateness, but that didn’t stop him from bitching about her entourage:
“She was subtly apologetic for being an hour late and yes, an entourage the size of Denmark.“
It didn’t last though. Philip promised his Twitter fans that he’d post a picture of the star, but then tweeted:
“Going to be a delay in the posting of the Mariah pic I’m afraid. Her people have asked for picture approval. Nicely predictable eh?“
Mariah declined the approval.

MARIAH UNVEILS HER BLUBBER
Looks like the only sweet fantasy Mariah is having these days is chocolate. The second most successful female artist of all time decided to exempt herself from dieting in preparation for the video shoot for H.A.T.E.U in Malibu on Wednesday, in which she shamelessly strips down to a satin bathing costume and bares all to the world.
Now we could feel guilty for suggesting Mariah is a porker, but then we weren’t the ones who decided to drag our flabby ass to the beach in full view of the world’s paparazzi. Mariah has eyes and presumably owns a mirror, so when the video director suggested appearing in a bathing suit she could have politely declined and gone with another concept. But no, this Diva’s arrogance knows no bounds and instead she decided to flaunt her fatness for all to see.
We have 2 words for Mariah – weight watchers!
