RIHANNA GETS THEM OUT FOR HER RECORD LABEL

Sales of Rihanna’s new album Rated R have been lukewarm to say the least, and so she’s decided to generate a little Rated X publicity by stripping off for GQ. Not a particularly original move, but we commend her willingness to stoop to any level in the name of album sales.

Knowing better than most that sex sells, Rihanna also opens up to the magazine about the naked photos of her that were leaked to the internet by an ex-boyfriend. She also tells how she arranged for her mortified mother Monica Fenty, an accountant from Barbados, to be sent a bouquet of flowers as a peace offering prior to the pictures leaking.

Those pictures are potentially the least of Monica’s worries given the persistent rumours of a fully fledged Rihanna sex tape that never go away. Combined with the naked cavorting on GQ, we’d suggest Rihanna open an account with Interflora quick smart!

Spencer and Heidi have never struck us as the sharpest tools in the box, so the fact that they manage to tear the presenters of The Insider to pieces in this interview doesn’t say much for the recruitment process at CBS. This is possibly the funniest TV interview we’ve ever seen (at one point even descending to accusations of incest!)

No matter how you feel about Speidi, this interview is TV gold and well worth watching. Check it out!

PAMMIE DROPS TO ALL TIME LOW

At RumerMills we consider ourselves to be extremely generous, which is why (against our better judgement) we allocated Pammie to the C+ category of our celebrity rankings. How wrong we were!

Today it was revealed that Pammie has filmed an interview for the Jeremy Kyle show to be screened in the UK tomorrow. To our international readers who aren’t familiar with Jeremy’s work, think Jerry Springer then imagine sinking about 5 levels lower. Pammie will be opening up to Jeremy about having to live in a trailer as a result of her financial difficulties after grossly overspending on the refurb of her Malibu home (platinum swimming pools will do that!)

Pammie dear, we gave you a chance but you’ve thrown it firmly back in our face – banished to the Z list until further notice.

KATIE PRICE ON THE CHELSEA LATELY SHOW

Sharp-tongued Katie Price isn’t used to being the butt of the joke, but she very much was on the Chelsea Lately show this week. The artist formerly known as Jordan seemed to have gone on to the show with the intension of boasting about her entrepreneurial endeavors, but instead came off looking like a waste of good silicone.

Looks like she had stopped off at the LA bases show en route to Australia, where she’ll be returning to I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here 6 years after first appearing on the show and winning the hearts of the British public. She’s certainly got some work to do to win them back after coming across as a cold hearted bitch somewhat difficult since her separation from Peter Andre.

Runner up Miss USA Carrie Prejean further embarrassed herself this week in an appearance on Larry King Live. Carrie, who would have us believe that the bible condemns gay marriage but supports bikini competitions and (heterosexual) sex tapes, sort of attempted to flounce off of the show in response to Larry’s tough questioning – but didn’t quite manage it.
