SUPPORT BUILDS FOR ANTI-CHERYL COLE GROUP
We were highly amused to discover the ‘Sausage Roll or Cheryl Cole‘ Facebook campaign this week, which was set up by a critic of Cheryl’s as an experiment to see whether a plain old sausage roll could get more online followers than the UK media darling herself.
As of today the she has 1.5 million followers, but the sausage roll is catching up fast with over 600,000 fans joining up in just 5 days.
It’s nice to see a bit of a backlash starting after enduring 12 months of endless media coverage that’s hell bent on painting her as a cross between Madonna and Mother Teresa. Hardly – her ‘talent’ is marginal and let’s not forget her previous life as a nightclub brawler before the ‘butter wouldn’t melt’ reinvention that coincided with the launch of her solo career.
We’re sure Sophie Amogbokpa, the toilet attendant Cheryl viciously attacked a few years ago, certainly hasn’t forgotten the black eye she was left with.
