THE HIGHS AND LOWS OF BEING SUBO
The first pictures of Susan Boyle’s appearance on Oprah have emerged and we have to say she scrubs up well.
It’s been reported that Susan, officially the biggest music star in the world right now, gave a candid interview and sang Who I Was Born To Be – as well as showing off her cringe-worthy hip thrusting.
Sadly it’s not all good news. The level of success SuBo has achieved over the past year comes with a lot of pressure, and fears are growing for her well-being following more examples of her increasingly erratic behaviour.
While waiting in London’s Heathrow Airport for her flight to Chicago to film the show she shocked fellow first class passengers in the British Airways VIP Lounge by singing and dancing with a mop. She also tried to polish a male passenger’s shoes.
The day before that she was seen launching into a foul mouth tirade in a cafe near her hometown of Blackburn, Scotland. The tantrum is said to have been brought on by her personal assistant – believed to be one of her nieces – telling her she needed to go on a diet. In protest SuBo allegedly grabbed a chocolate bar and scoffed the entire thing in one go, shouting “I’ll show her!“
She’s also said to have shouted at the cafe manager “you better not be fu**ing talking about me!“
Her condition is said to be exacerbated by the fact that she’s being pulled in different directions by her team of managers – Andy Stephens, who used to work with George Michael, U2’s former accountant Ossie Kilkenny and another of her nieces, Kirsty.
The saddest thing about this story is the number of nieces that have crawled out of the woodwork to support Aunt SuBo. Sources tell us that they didn’t show nearly as much interest in her before she became the multi-millionaire star that she is now.
